"Moving Forward In Time" Feature in The Riverfront Times!

This week I was featured in an article in Riverfront Times spotlighting my new album "Moving Forward In Time". Thanks to Christian Schaeffer for doing such an eloquent job of capturing the essence of the project. Katie Adelia Marquez told me she thinks this is one of the best pieces anyone has ever written about me.

It was really great sitting down and chatting with Christian over tea/coffee the other day at Comet Coffee, Croissanterie, & Creamery. Seeing that it is "Throwback Thursday", I wanted to share a memory in relationship to this milestone.

I used to work at a coffee shop called "Sabu's" that was located in the same exact location as Comet Coffee is currently everyday for about a year in a hot busy kitchen. I was the omelet/sandwich guy. It was truly surreal thinking about all of the long hours invested doing what I had to there to support my music/artistic dreams. I didn't think about it as much while we were having the interview, but The Universe totally has a special way of winking at you.

Today I am thankful for the opportunity we all have to pursue our dreams. While we all have different obstacles, hardships and consequences to endure to find our way to living our life to the fullest, I know this for sure, The Universal Creator wants us all to succeed and live the highest version of our beings possible. It takes some grinding and sharpening of perception to realize when you are being given golden opportunities, because believe me they seldom look like they way you would expect, but I know that unconditionally we are all given the opportunity to make the best of our lives with what we have right in front of us.

The hard work will pay off, and soon be transformed into fun desirable "work". Do what you got to do, to do what you want to do and before you know it it, there won't be a difference between the two.
